Belarusian and Russian businessmen suggest opening joint ventures in Aktyubinsk region to produce farming machines and energy-saving lamps, reports press service of Aktyubinsk region executive body (Aktyubinsk Akimat).

The announcement says that a group of Russian and Belarusian businessmen paid an official visit to Aktyubinsk region where they put forward a number of ambitious proposals concerning the development of joint business.

“In particular, the representatives of Brest Electromechanical Plant, founded on the basis of the former defence enterprise, proposed Aktyubinsk entrepreneurs to set up a joint venture to produce agricultural machinery. So far, the factory has mastered the manufacture of a large range of equipment that improves the quality and efficiency of farm work,” reports the press-service.

Besides this, they brought forward a proposal concerning joint production of electricity metering counters and gas equipment, as well as portable medical devices for local d'arsonvalization.

In addition, the representatives of Brest Electric Bulb Factory shared their view on cooperation in the area of lead-free glass tubes production.

In their turn, members of the delegation from Yekaterinburg who represent Alapaevsk asbestos mine offered cooperation in such areas as production of energy-efficient LED lamps, nanotechnology-based transformers and solar panels.
