Belarus and Russia will exchange pieces of land

The State Duma of the Russian Federation has received the ratification of an intergovernmental agreement that provides mutual transfer of land ownership and lease between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. This agreement must be accepted in order to establish a clear legal basis to implement the transfer of land between the two countries on the rights of ownership and lease. Thus, in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement Russia will give Belarus lands which are located in the Krasnodar Territory and in the Adler. Total land area is about 16.32 hectares. In turn, the Republic of Belarus is obliged to transfer parcels of land located in the Minsk region and directly in Minsk. Moreover, Belarus takes on lease for 49 years the sanatoriums "White Russia" and "Belarus", which are located in the Krasnodar region. Simultaneously the lease will cover the land, which belongs to sanatoriums on the rights of perpetual use. Let us recall, an intergovernmental agreement that provides mutual transfer of land ownership and lease between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus was signed in Minsk two years ago.
