Representatives of Belarusian Tractor Works Paid Working Visit to Altai

The delegation which included the representatives of the unitary enterprise “Minsk Tractor Plant” (MTP) and unitary enterprise “Belarusian Plant of Tractor Units and Parts” (BPTU&P) has paid a visit to the joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash”.

The delegation which included the representatives of the unitary enterprise “Minsk Tractor Plant” (MTP) and unitary enterprise “Belarusian Plant of Tractor Units and Parts” (BPTU&P) has paid a visit to the joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash”.

As is reported by Krai Industry and Energy Authority, the visit to the Altai enterprise JSC “Barnaultransmash” was caused by the necessity to study potential commercial deliveries of low-sized diesel engines for building the tractors «Belarus-320.1».

Some time ago a pilot batch of these diesel engines was delivered by the joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash” to the leading tractor plant of Belarus – unitary enterprise “Minsk Tractor Plant”. The tractors equipped with Altai diesel engine have passed all the tests and were delivered as trial consignments to the consumers in Russia and CIS countries.

During this visit the participants drew up a report of the panel meeting held by unitary enterprise “BPTU&P”, unitary enterprise “MTP” and joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash” on organizing full-scale production of small-sized tractors equipped with diesel engines of Altai enterprise. In its turn, joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash” is ready to produce the required quantity of diesel engines with due regard for existing production facilities. Besides that, Belarusian party confirmed that when reconciling the agreement on engine deliveries for the year 2009 it will consider the possibility of distributing the consignment of the abovementioned model of the tractor through the chain of commercial firms of the production association “MTP” in Russia and the Republic of Belarus.

In order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation Altai Krai Industry and Energy Authority is examining the possibility to organize on Altai krai territory the assembling of tractors “Belarus” that are to be equipped with the engines of the joint-stock company of the holding type “Barnaultransmash” so as to supply these tractors for housing and public utilities needs as well as the agricultural sector of Altai krai and neighbouring regions.
