November 17, 2010 V Forum of the Union State Draft Programs will Take Place

The main Forum objective is to identify the most interesting proposals and projects for programs to be funded from the Union State budget, and to inform on the implementation of existing programs. As far as enterprises are concerned the Forum is an excellent opportunity to develop a project, get financing and find partners in the States of the Union State. 3.9 billion Russian rubles were allocated on financing of the Union programs in 2010, which amounts to 80% of the budget of the Union State. Every year the number of programs that receive support and funding from the Union State is steadily increasing. Reports on projects in various fields of science, technology, health and social services will be presented at the Forum, as well as reports on the most important results of the union programs. Leading scientists and specialists of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation will be among the speakers at the Forum. The Forum will host a briefing by Pavel Borodin, Secretary of the Union State, with representatives of Belarusian, Russian and foreign media. Representatives of legislative and executive branches of the Union State of Belarus and the Russian Federation will also take part in the briefing. An exposition showing the results of the Union State programs - from basic sciences, medicine and pharmacology, supercomputing and space technology to the development of applied problems in engineering, agriculture and food production will be presented at the Forum.
