Belarusian parliamentarian ratified agreement on customs procedures harmonization on power interchange across CIS borders

The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus has ratified agreement on customs procedures harmonization on power interchange across the borders of the member states of CIS at the plenary meeting that took place on May, 14.

The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus has ratified agreement on customs procedures harmonization on power interchange across the borders of the member states of CIS at the plenary meeting that took place on May, 14.

The document signed on November, 22 in 2007 in Ashkhabad is ordering the harmonized and simplified customs procedures on power interchange between the energetic systems of the parties to the agreement. Under the contract customs procedures on power interchange between the energetic systems are carried out in accordance with the standard order of the customs clearance and customs control of power interchange across the customs borders of the CIS states.

In particular the standard order provides that avowal of the power interchange is carried out through the submitting of customs declaration within 20 days on the expiry of business period. Meanwhile any of the parties in accordance with its national legislation may establish a more favorable order of the customs clearance and control of the power interchange across its customs border under the condition of not causing damage to other parties to the agreement.
