Vladimir Novikov: Belarusian-Russian customs lines absolutely intolerable

Belarusian-Russian customs lines are absolutely intolerable for assembly conveyors like Smolensk autoagrigate actory, - said Vladimir Novilov, the head of Smolensk autoagrigate factory. It is intolerable according to him first because of the fact that it is very disadvantageous and unprofitable to have the components reserves in process. Apart from that the situation with Belarusian-Russian boundary lines is fraught with the assembly enterprises suspension. Also such lines create another problem – manufacturer’s warranty bond on components from both parties. Apart from that according to Vladimir Novikov there is also some bustle in production process connected with some mess in regulatory documents in customs sphere. Though the most significant problem here is that customs stations are so overloaded that the vehicles delivering goods may wait for the document records for about 4-20 hours.
