Bashkortostan held festival in honor of Union State 10th anniversary

In Iglin region (Bashkortostan) there was a 2nd festival of Belarusian song dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Agreement on Union State formation.

In Iglin region (Bashkortostan) there was a 2^nd festival of Belarusian song dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of Agreement on Union State formation.

It was arranged and organized with the help of Ministry of Culture and national policy of Bashkortostan on behalf of republic home of nations’ friendship and Ufa representative office of Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation. The participants of the festival were welcomed by the deputy chairperson of administration of Iglin region Minzil Imammutdinov and the head of the representative office of Belarus Oleg Isaev.

Iglin region is the place where a lot of Belarusians live; in the rural area Baltika that is located on the territory of the region there is a Belarusian historical and cultural center with the same name and festival dedicated to the Belarusian songs are held.

Spectators and guests of the current festival were pleased with the national ensemble of Belarusian song “Syabri”, that repeatedly wins prizes in the contests of Belarusian song that took place in Moscow, national ensemble of Russian song “National festival”, children folklore ensemble “Zhavoronochki” and other participants. All folklore groups were given letters of appreciation by administration of the town region and representative office of Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation in Ufa.
