Journalists from 14 countries cover “Slavyanski bazar in Vitebsk”

Lesser time is left before the beginning of the 17th international art festival “Slavyanski bazar in Vitebsk” and not only artists, officials and craftsmen but also journalists finish their preparation for the festival. It is planned that in the current year more than 500 mass media representatives from 14 countries will cover the event. About that was reported by deputy Minister of information Alexander Slobodchuk.

Lesser time is left before the beginning of the 17th international art festival “Slavyanski bazar in Vitebsk” and not only artists, officials and craftsmen but also journalists finish their preparation for the festival. It is planned that in the current year more than 500 mass media representatives from 14 countries will cover the event. About that was reported by deputy Minister of information Alexander Slobodchuk.

Applications for accreditation were filed by journalists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Baltic States, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, China and Cuba. Russian press including regional one follows the Belarusian festival with a great interest. Not only representatives of central mass media will come in Vitebsk but also journalists from Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Novosibirsk and Smolensk.

Belarusian mass media will be represented by BelTA, leading national TV channels, FM radio stations as well as periodicals including state regional periodicals of Vitebsk district (“Vitebski rabochi”, “Narodnae slova”, “Vitbichi”). Full picture of festival events will be given by Belteleradiocompany, ONT, STV, First music channel and local television and radio. Broadcasting from Vitebsk will be represented also by “Rossia” channel, intergovernmental broadcasting company “Mir” and Union State broadcasting organization.

In Vitebsk during the festival international press-centre will work.
