Union state program on crime prevention successfully implemented

Union state program on crime prevention approved in 2008 is being successfully implemented. That was told by the Minister of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Anatoli Kuleshov at the meeting with the Minister of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev in Minsk on March, 4.

Anatoli Kuleshov pointed out that cooperation with Russian and Belarusian militia has regular and effective nature and there are no problems between the Ministries. Belarusian side values this cooperation high, - he added.

Minister of Interior Affairs of Russia in his turn congratulated his Belarusian colleague and all personal operations stuff of the MIA of Belarus with professional holiday.

According to the press-service of MIA of Russia currently militia departments of the both countries are actively cooperating in the educational area. Thus in Russia 62 officers of MIA of Belarus are being trained. Besides, in 2009 Belarusian militia men were on advanced training in different educational establishments of MIA of Russia.

Enforcement agencies of Belarus and Russia plan to continue close interaction when carrying out operation and investigation and other actions as well as special operations: “Channel”, “Transit”, “Investigation”, “Foreigner” and others.

In 2009 in particular during interstate large scale operation “Investigation” on the territory of Russia 57 people wanted by the initiative of MIA of Belarus were detained. In their turn Belarusian colleagues detained 64 people wanted by the Russian side.

The Head of the MIA of Russia announced that in June , 2010 in Rostov there will be a meeting of Ministers of Interior Affairs (police) of CSTO member-states and invited Anatoli Kuleshov to participate.
