P.Vityaz: Third forum on programms’ projects was held on a high scientific-organizational level

Union State programms are a very important tool in economic integration and are aimed at realization of coordinated actions on international processes development. Forum on programms’ projects makes it possible to reveal the most promising practical and research projects for their implementation under Union State aegis. The Third forum was held on October, 21-22 in Moscow.

Forum on programms’ projects makes it possible to reveal the most promising practical and research projects for their implementation under Union State aegis. According to the First deputy Chairman of presidium of National academy of sciences of Belarus Pyotr Vityaz, the format of the forum on programms is improving each year.

“It is important that not only designers but also customers took part in forum and the main thing is that services involved in licensing system are ministries of economy and ministries of finance. From this point of view the forum was held on a high scientific-organizational level”, - he said during the talk with the www.soyuz.by correspondent about the results of his visit to Moscow.

Also within the scopes of the forum the issues were discussed how to increase the competitiveness of Belarusian and Russian production, its quality and consumer properties with joint efforts. Other problematic issues were considered including those in the sphere of migration and customs so that Belarus and Russia in future will be able to live in a single scientific and technological area.

Estimating the results of union programms the academician pointed out that on the basis of scientific achievements the two states reached innovational programms of high quality. For example “SKIF” supercomputers are launched into production, many materials and technologies have been prepared in the sphere of space development and industrial engineering and agriculture are in progress.

Meanwhile P.Vityaz added that Forum was aimed basically at the programms’ projects discussion but in future the organizers plan to take into account also the suggestions about the “round table” discussions on problematic issues –especially considering the complicated process of programms’ approval. “At present the special group of experts is involved in the improvement of this process. I fully support them”, - he said. “The rights to intellectual property have been not defined yet, thus it is necessary to put this question under discussion”, - believes P.Vityaz.
