Particularly, as it was said by the Minister, every week the interior officers of Russia and Belarus take cooperative actions against the illicit drug trade. In addition to that touching upon the issue of creating the Brest-Moscow security corridor, the Minister said that the first security system technical elements will come into service on the E30 highway close to big cities in October, 2008. It is being planned that later it will cover the whole highway and will allow a hauler if he wants to keep in touch with the law-enforcement bodies on the whole travel line. To provide security Russian technologies will be applied. According to Naumov, the proposal from the Russian side to take similar security measures on the other highways is also being considered.
