Belarus Ministry of Foreign Affairs: the Fate of the Customs Union will be Decided by Three Presidents

The final decision on further development of the Customs union will be adopted on the summit of the presidents of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, which will take place on the 4-5 July in Astana. The news was reported by the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Belarus Andrew Evdochenko according to « Прайм - Тасс » agency.

Giving comments on the dates when the union is supposed to start functioning Andrew Evdochenko explained that “in the case some concrete date isn’t important – the moment when we will state the progress in the Custom union formation, - in the case the substance itself is important – the conditions we agree upon”.

Initially the summit in Astana was supposed to time to the beginning of the functioning of the Union in format full of value, but in connection with the anniversary of Nursultan Nazarba the date of the forum was shifted.

Deputy Minister also stated that the completion of the United custom territory formation of the Custom union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan by the first of July, as it was charged by presidents, won’t be possible.
