As is reported by the press service of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin has conducted negotiations with Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.The President of Russia and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh discussed the prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The negotiations resulted in a set of documents signed in the presence of Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Hasina.
In particular, these are inter-governmental agreements on granting a credit to the republic to build a nuclear power plant; a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of war on terrorism; memoranda on cooperation in the field of public health, education, culture, agriculture; an agreement on cooperation when establishing an information center for nuclear energy.
In addition, Vladimir Putin and Sheikh Hasina released a joint statement following the results of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh to Russia.
