Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin Congratulate Serzh Sargsyan on Winning Presidential Elections in Armenia

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on the resounding triumph in the presidential elections in Armenia.<br />

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on the resounding triumph in the presidential elections in Armenia.

“The fact that you have been reelected for a second term confirms the high confidence of your constituents as well as appreciation of your services to the Armenian people,” emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

Belarusian President expressed confidence that the state activity of Serzh Sargsyan at this high post would be aimed at all-round realization of the enormous Belarus-Armenia cooperation potential based on historically friendly relations between the two nations.

Besides that, President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin.

Vladimir Putin congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on winning presidential elections in the Republic of Armenia.

The Heads of State have agreed to maintain personal contacts.

Vladimir Putin has also sent a congratulatory message to Serzh Sargsyan. The Head of the Russian State, in particular, noted that the election results testify the high prestige of Serzh Sargsyan among the population as well as active support of the socio-economic and foreign policy pursued under his leadership.

In addition, the President of Russia expressed confidence that both Russia and Armenia shall continue strengthening their bilateral relations for the benefit of the two peoples.
