Issues of humanitarian cooperation between CIS countries to be discussed in Minsk
Issues related to humanitarian cooperation between the CIS countries were discussed in Minsk today. As Sergei Lebedev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the CIS, emphasised in his interview with reporters, cooperation in the humanitarian sphere was an important component of the Concept of Cooperation amongst the CIS Countries which was adopted in October 2007. He said that members of the Commonwealth of Independent States had delivered breakthroughs in this area over the last 5 years.
