Lower Chambers of Belarusian and Russian Parliaments to Sign Agreement on Cooperation

The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus and State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation are to conclude an agreement on inter-parliamentary cooperation. As was reported by the press service of the House of Representatives, the document is expected to be signed on June 26th when the Russian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergei Naryshkin pays an official visit to Belarus.

The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus and State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation are to conclude an agreement on inter-parliamentary cooperation. As was reported by the press service of the House of Representatives, the document is expected to be signed on June 26th when the Russian parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergei Naryshkin pays an official visit to Belarus.

The programme of the visit includes meetings between Russian parliamentarians and heads of chambers of the Belarusian parliament, cabinet meetings, a visit to the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus as well as a meeting with students and faculty of this educational institution. Besides that, the guests will lay a wreath at the Victory Monument.

Russian deputies are also to take part in the session of the Union State Parliamentary Assembly which is held on June 26th in Minsk. The Council of the Parliamentary Assembly is scheduled to meet during the above-mentioned session.

The representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, relevant ministries and departments of Belarus and Russia have been invited to take part in the work of the session.
