Nikolay Bordyuzha: The President of Belarus made a noble act inviting Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family

The president of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made a noble act when he invited ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family.

The president of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made a noble act when he invited ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family.

The opinion was expressed by Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on the 14th of May during a press conference. “Nearly all of the presidents of the countries participating in the CSTO during an unofficial summit supported the president of Belarus, who, as they claimed, made a noble deed acting as a real man when he rendered help to Kurmanbek Bakiyev and his family,” – the CSTO Secretary General reported.

According to Nikolay Bordyuzha among the members of the CSTO Belarus doesn’t take any special attitude towards Kyrgyzstan. “I don’t see any particular position of Alexander Lukashenko. Regarding the events in Kyrgyzstan he expressed the same opinion as all the other leaders of the member-states of the CSTO – unconstitutional and illegitimate change of power took place in the country. The particularity of the position of Belarus is that the president of Belarus invited the president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev,” – he notified.

“This is sovereign right of Belarus, but not a special position of the president comparing to other leaders,” - the CSTO Secretary General underlined.
