It was stated by the Head of the CIS Observer Mission, Executive Committee Chairman – CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.

According to him, “In Belarus they created necessary conditions for international election observers. This proves the democracy and transparency of elections”.

Sergey Lebedev informed that “while talking to other observers it became clear that there were neither serious critical remarks, violations of Belarusian electoral laws nor any obstacles to free expression of popular will. We didn't come across such remarks.”

CIS Observer Mission Head pointed out that “Central Election Committee was open to communication and constructive collaboration. We’ve managed to deal with all the organizational issues that occurred during the elections with the assistance of election committees staff.”
