Alexander Lukashenko met with Chairman of Russian Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin

The Head of the State Alexander Lukashenko expressed his assurance in this at the meeting with the head of Russian control department Sergei Stepashin on July, 21, - reports press-service of President of the Republic of Belarus.

President underlined: “We have always been and will be together. That is why SCC and Accounts Chamber have a lot to do. I am sure that there will be even more work in the long run”. In this connection Alexander Lukashenko encourages not to believe in the rumors and insinuations spread by some mass media about Belarus leaving Russia.

“We will never leave Russia as well as Russia will never leave us, - said President of Belarus. – Everything Mass Media writes about this issue is absolutely false and deformation of the facts that concern even the smallest things not talking about economic and political relations between Belarus and Russia”. “This is antipublic lobby that has been activated in Russia and in our country”, - added the Head of the State.

President underlined that very good relations have been established between SCC and Accounts Chamber. Common control of Accounts Chamber and State control committee over the Union State budget implementation has brought positive results.

“We took it for long for a rule that the both control departments of Union State must follow the implementation of Union State budget. Your initial intervention into the issues of its expenditures gave positive results. I believe that the money expenses from Union budget may be an example of fund spending for any state”, - pointed out Alexander Lukashenko.

Sergei Stepashin in his turn underlined that Accounts Chamber of Russia and State control committee of Belarus have no secrets from each other. “Despite all the problems the both countries have had, the relations between our departments have always been excellent”, - said the guest.

Sergei Stepashin also informed about common board of State control committee of Belarus and Accounts Chamber of Russia that will take place in Minsk.

During the meeting the issues of limits for the export of Belarusian milk products in Russia has been touched. Alexander Lukashenko suggested the guest that he visit any milk processing plant of the country and evaluate its products. Immediately after the meeting with President Segei Stapashin together with the Chairman of SCC of Belarus Zenon Lomat head for Minsk municipal milk plant №1. He tried milk products of Gormolzavod and outlined their excellent taste and quality: “This is unique, very healthy and tasty products. There is no secret that Russian people have always treated with appetite Belarusian milk products that matches both high quality and reasonable price”.

Sergei Stepashin is assured that so called milk dispute between Russian and Belarus has likely misunderstanding in its roots. According to the Chairman of Accounts Chamber he said that when he returns to Moscow he will find out what demands Russia has and how they can be met completely. “I will recommend the head sanitary inspector of Russia Gennadi Onischenko come here and solve everything, - said Sergei Stepashin. – To my mind it is important to take into account two things: first, quality product must be imported into Russia without any obstacles and secondly, why to punish the local producer”.

“We have decided with Alexander Grigoryevich that all the problems must be solved on a high level of specialists”, - pointed out the guest.
