During recent years Belarus and Russia have managed to achieve a lot in the sphere of union integration, however the potential of Union State Treaty is far beyond implementation. That was reported by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with the delegation from Chelyabinsk district that took place in Minsk.

Making a speech in front of the delegation Alexander Lukashenko underlined that such visits of representatives of Russian regions became a good tradition. “At such kind of meetings the discussions of topical issues in the sphere of cooperation allow most effectively to cover the whole potential of relations and plan new areas of development, - said the head of the state. – Thus we promote the realization of the union state treaty signed 10 years ago. And the most important is that we fill it with concrete sense”.

President reminded that at the recent meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council the parties defined the strategy of common activities for the nearest future. “The life itself shows us that there where out states act on the basis of coordinated plans and programs the results are more significant and perspectives are wider and more diverse”, - pointed out Alexander Lukashenko.
