As is reported by the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly, the regular session of Union Sate Parliamentary Assembly will take place in Minsk on December 9th.
The journalists were informed that “the main item on the session’s agenda concerns authorization of the parliamentarians delegated by the National Assembly of Belarus”. Belarusian-Russian Parliamentary Assembly is formed of 36 deputies from the two countries’ parliaments. Belarusian delegation includes 23 deputies of the House of Representatives and 13 members of the Council of the Republic.
At the forthcoming session the deputies plan to examine the measures to be taken in order to remedy the deficiencies in the process of preparation and implementation of Union State programmes as well as to improve the organization of budgetary process. Besides that, as is reported by the Parliamentary Assembly press service, Union parliamentarians will consider the plan of operation and international activity of the Parliamentary Assembly for the year 2009.
