TV channel TRO celebrates its 3rd birthday

On September 25th, 2007 the TV-Radio Broadcasting Organization of the Union State started its satellite broadcasting on TRO television channel. General Manager of the TV channel is Russian actor and TV presenter Igor Ugolnikov. The launch of the channel made it possible to improve information support of the Union State formation. The channel broadcasts round-the-clock. TV channel TRO is included in the package of the largest cable operators of Moscow: public corporation “COMSTAR-United TeleSystems” (Stream TV), “Akado-Stolitsa”, CJSC “Tsentel” and Ltd. “Kompaniya 2Kom”, CJSC “NSK” (Tricolor TV). In the near future TRO channel will join the distribution network of major Russian companies CJSC “NTV+”, as well as many Belarusian cable operators.

Over the past year the channel has significantly expanded its viewing audience that now totals 22 million people. The quality of television content has improved and the number of in-house programmes and films, many of which were awarded with various professional prizes, has risen.
