Cooperation with Russia is in line with Belarus National Interests

More than half Republic of Belarus citizens (55%) believe that the current close cooperation with Russia meets the Belarus national interests. These data have been provided on the bases of public opinion poll conducted by the Information and Analytical Centre of the Presidential Administration in October. Respondents put Ukraine on the second place (21.5%), on the third - the European Union (17%), on the fourth - China (14%), which is followed by other CIS countries (10.5%), Latin America (5%), U.S. (2%), South-East region (1.5%) and Arab countries (1%). Also according to 7.5% of the respondents, cooperation with all countries of the world meets the national interests of Belarus.
