Nikolai Churkin: There are still a lot of problems to be solved before Constitution Act adoption

There are still a lot of problems to be solved before the adoption of Constitution Act of Union State, said first deputy chairman of the committee on natural resources and environment protection of the Council of Russian Federation Nikolai Churkin in his interview with Information Analysis portal of the Union State.

There are still a lot of problems to be solved before the adoption of Constitution Act of Union State, said first deputy chairman of the committee on natural resources and environment protection of the Council of Russian Federation Nikolai Churkin in his interview with Information Analysis portal of the Union State.

According to him among those problems are economic and commerce as well as financial ones. Moreover the senator considers that today the discussion of the basic document of union integration itself experiences some difficulties. “In current situation when everything changes so quickly all agreements that have been reached before are needed to be specified and amended”, - pointed out Nikolai Churkin. “And only in this connection appear problems that are considered by some as a slowdown which is nothing of this kind. It is a dialogue. It is a normal work, a very difficult one”, - he added.

According to N.Churkin, Constitutional Act must be a document that should satisfy every resident of both Belarus and Russia. Only in this case Constitutional Act will work. “Even if a small problem appears that will be unacceptable for any of the states, the document won’t work smoothly”, the senator believes.
