Belarusian-Russian seminar on APK held in Grodno district

On October, 14th “Ozernyi” sanatorium that is located in Grodno district started the 17th meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly regular seminar on the issues of Union State formation titled “Coordinated agricultural policy of Belarus and Russia is the most important condition of food security in Union State”.

The Chairman of the Grodno district executive committee Vladimir Savchenko is expected to address the event participants with a welcome speech.

The Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly Commission on economic policy, the member of the Federation Council Committee on economic policy, business and ownership Oleg Tolkachev is expected to make an opening speech, and the Minister of agriculture and food of Belarus Semen Shapiro, is expected to make a main report on the topic “Formation of the common food market in the Union State”.

The Vice president of the Academy of agricultural sciences, the director of the all-Russian research institute of agricultural economics, the academician of Rosselchozacademy Ivan Ushachev is expected to speak on main provisions of Conception of Union State common agricultural policy. The deputy Minister of Health, Head state sanitary doctor of the republic of Belarus Valentina Kachan is expected to speak on unification and harmonization of national legislation in the area of food security.

The participants of the seminar are expected to visit the JSC “Grodnohlebproduct” branch of Skidel town and JSC “Vasilishki” that is located in Schchuchin region.
